The building is approx 17.5 metres x 19 metres with the eaves height at 3.2 metres with forward canopy and is to be insulated with 40mm Kingspan Insulated Panels. Due to the retail complex being completed within the last 9 months and utilising the quality control records of the new service yard, structural engineers were able to prove that the new building could be secured to the existing concrete and therefore save the client approx £40,000 in groundwork's fees that were not necessary in this instance. Using our expertise knowledge and engineering techniques, we were able to adjust the column lengths individually to allow for the slope in the service yard to within an accuracy of +/- 1mm. This is the seventh building nationally we have completed for this client with others to follow in the new year.
