Ensuring Safe Workspaces with Springfield Steel Buildings

At Springfield Steel Buildings, we prioritise health and safety in all our projects and operations. We have been accredited by SafeContractor, Chas & Constructionline which means that our clients don’t have to go through extensive assessments of our health and safety performance. Our commitment to health and safety, including our policies, procedures, and employee training, has been thoroughly evaluated by independent experts.

We follow the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 in all our projects, which came into effect on April 6th, 2015. Our priority is to plan and execute all operations in a way that protects the health, welfare, and safety of our employees, sub-contractors, clients, end-users of our projects, and the general public.

Health and Safety

Health and safety is of utmost importance at Springfield Steel Buildings, and we maintain a flawless record in this regard. We ensure that preventing accidents and illnesses is our top priority. Our business operations are carried out with the utmost care and attention to health and safety.

We partner with Pearson Holland Management Services Ltd to ensure that our projects are executed to the highest health and safety standards. They conduct regular inspections and report their findings to our management team, who then take any necessary corrective action.

All our steel erectors and cladding operatives are full-time employees with training and expertise in the safe construction of our innovative steel-framed buildings. They are certified by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) and the Client Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) Safety Passport, as well as possessing the appropriate IPAF 3a & 3b certification for the use of mobile elevated working platforms. Our site supervisors have completed the 5-day CITB Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) and a three-day emergency first aid course.
