Safecontractor

Safecontractor is a health and safety accreditation scheme in the United Kingdom. It provides a health and safety assessment service for contractors working in a range of industries, including construction, facilities management, and retail. The scheme aims to help clients identify contractors who have demonstrated a commitment to health and safety and who meet industry standards.

To become a Safecontractor-accredited contractor, companies must undergo an assessment of their health and safety systems and processes. The assessment covers a range of areas, including health and safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments, as well as evidence of compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. Safecontractor assessors then evaluate the information provided and determine whether the contractor meets the Safecontractor standards.

By using Safecontractor-accredited contractors, clients can be confident that they are working with companies that have a strong commitment to health and safety and that they are taking the necessary steps to manage health and safety risks. Federation Of Master Builders

Springfield Steel Buildings have been accredited Master Builder member by the Federation of Master Builders.  The Federation of Master Builders have a strict membership criterion as well as a vetting process that all members need to pass.

On joining, Master Builder members must have a minimum of 12 months trading, pass an independent inspection, have public and employers’ liability insurance & pass credit and director checks.  All members are inspected every 3 years by an inspector from the British Board of Agreement, an independent organisation accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service.

Fire Protection Association (FPA)

The Fire Protection Association (FPA) is a UK-based professional organisation that provides advice, guidance, and support to individuals and organisations on fire safety and fire protection issues. CSCS Qualified

All staff with a responsibility for visiting customer sites are CSCS qualified. CSCS keeps a database of all businesses working in construction that have achieved and can demonstrate they have attained an agreed level of occupational competence. The CPCS scheme is the plant accreditation side of the scheme and all site operatives are qualified in operating the machinery required for a project.

Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce

RIDBA

The Rural and Industrial Design and Building Association (RIDBA) is a professional trade association that represents companies involved in the design, construction, and maintenance of rural and industrial buildings.
